Open STB Emulator app, Click 'Menu' button on your REMOTE CONTROLLER, you will see 'setting' menu, click it. Click 'Profiles', you can see the 'Demo portal' on the right part, click it. You can see 'STB SETTINGS', and here you can find your MAC address start with: 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX(give this number to us). February 9, 2016 For those of you struggling with the STB Emulator. Please message me as I need to change your MAC address. On all IPTV-Set Top Boxes you can find this directly on the sticker underneath the box. For all android devices you would need to download STB emulator and follow instructions in our how to section. The steps are settings profile select the existing profile STB configuration here you will find the MAC beginning with 00:1A:79.
Do not change your Virtual MAC unless instructed by the provider to do so!
Changing this without permission from provider will get your Portal access BLOCKED!
Warning: changing Virtual MAC will make your TV appear like NEW TV to the Provider. They must know the NEW Virtual MAC so they can activate it.
We can not change Virtual MAC with Custom one, it can be only system generated. This is due to security reasons!
- Start the app and press the OK/Enter key on the remote to Enter Portal selection.
- Go to Settings
(address shown here is fake - only for display purposes, it will not work on your TV!)
- Go to Advanced Settings
- Select Generated MAC
- Restart the App
We do not allow you to enter your own MAC address because if you enter the same MAC address as the MAG STB (or any other BOX or Emulator) you will get your account BLOCKED! Providers have other ways of detecting your Device so MAC address is not the only identification. Thank you for understanding.
